The name Horeb comes from the mountain of God, a place of divine encounter. It means a sacred meeting point between God and His people, a place of transformation and fellowship (Exodus 3:1-2, Exodus 33:6, Deuteronomy 4:10, Deuteronomy 5:2, 1 Kings 19:8-9).
